Workplace accidents are preventable, unacceptable and costly in today's environment.

Our priority is the safety of our people and we recognise that any injury will result in suffering to our employees and their families. No task is so important that their safety is put at risk.

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of our employees, contractors and visitors.

We are continually reviewing and improving our safety management system – reducing hazards and modifying any unsafe behaviour.

Care for the Environment

KTL Offshore are committed to managing all aspects of our business in an environmentally responsible manner at all times. We aim to achieve best practice environmental management across all of our operations.

We maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, as well as any standards that are determined by our business partners.

We identify behavior that has an impact on the environment, and deem to improve this behavior. We continually look out for industry best practices, and adopt them wherever we can (eg. Environmental Protection and Management Act, Environmental Public Health Act, Fire Safety Act, Sewerage and Drainage Act, Factories Act, Smoking (Prohibition in Certain Places) Act).

We exercise care in how we use materials and energy, and we minimize waste through proper recycling. We continually monitor energy usage and waste production, and explore ways to reduce these.

We share our learnings with our employees and business partners.

Training on environmental care and awareness is ongoing practice.

We invest in continual improvement in our manufacturing and manpower resources to ensure that we achieve excellence in our operations.

We are an ISO 9001 Accredited Company applying a default of British Standards (BS) and those of The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Our Oilfield and Marine based operations frequently call for API, ANSI, etc. all of which we are familiar with. Engineered Slings are inspected to IMCA M179 and PM20. Other international standards can be applied upon request from the client.
