Our KimSpool machines are hydraulic
controlled, and the back tension is attained
without the use of sheaves or other
potentially harmful  tensioning devices.

The machines are available to cater for
specific applications, and the number
of machines we have allows us great
flexibility when scheduling jobs. 

Our Technical Services department are
very experienced in the spooling of wire rope,
and also in the installation and removal of
crane wire, tow wire and anchor wire. We are
also very experienced in the installation and extraction of umbilical cables which require a high level of expertise, and have the best equipment in order to ensure the job is completed properly.

Our spooling machines are available for extended periods of hire, and we are able to ship them out to any location Worldwide.

We have 7 spooling machines which are immediately available for deployment (KimSpool 2 is permanently available in China).  This fleet is soon to be supported  by two newbuilds (KimSpool 9 and 10).

Our spooling machines are some of the largest  in the World, capable of accommodating the heaviest anchor line or crane rope. Our fleet of spoolers can accommodate reel weights from 25t to a massive 250t.
